Fun day with Dianne.
Last Thursday our class was rewarded with an awesome treat of energize games ran by Dianne. This was due to the fact that our class bought back the most home play challenge slips. We played some games like dog rangers and balloon races. Here is a photo to go with the game dog range

Term 2 reflection
This term I learnt that 3d shapes and 2d shapes have different names. I enjoyed having Miss Barr with us and learning new things. I am looking forward to seeing my teacher again, learning more cool things, looking at flight and dancing. I am not looking forward to cross country!
Book Review
Do you want to read a book about love, life and death? Then read The ACB with HONORA LEE by Kate De Goldi.
The ACB with HONORA LEE is about a girl called Perry who has a gran with a sickness called Alzheimer that mucks up her brain. Perry vists her gran everyday and decides to carry out an ABC book. Grans life is disturbed when her friend gets sick and leaves to hospital.
The main characters are Perry and gran. Perry has short hair and glasses. Gran often mistakes her for a boy. Gran also has short hair that is cut so it looks like a swimming cap.
I liked how Perry tried her hardest help gran get smarter. I liked this because it was caring. I disliked how everything was so sudden. I disliked this because there was not much information.
The main idea in this story is about helping someone with Alzheimer's because that's what Perry did.
I would recommend this book to ages 8+ girls or to someone with a relative that has Alzheimer's. I would do this because they would understand it the best.

green poem
Green
Green looks like fresh cool milk.
It tastes like squishy chocolate melting in my mouth.
It feels like a soft cotton bed.
It smells like the strongest, sweetest sugar.
It sounds like the soft whispering breeze.

Netball taster
We did netball with coach Aroha yesterday we played reaction games and we finished off with a modified games of netball called 'Netball Tries'. How you play Netball Tries: first you need 4 holohoops that are two different colours and two teams some one has to call a number out and that many people from each team have to run onto the court and try to touch the ball down in the hoop far end of the court.
